How we handle corrections

• Factual errors — correct the error in the article, append a dated correction note at the top, and indicate what changed and why.
• Significant errors — if a correction materially affects the conclusions of a piece, we issue a separate correction notice and update social-media references.
• Retractions — on rare occasions when an investigation cannot be supported, the piece stays at the original URL with a clear retraction notice replacing the original content. We do not delete the URL.
• No stealth edits — we do not silently change published claims. Every substantive change after publication is dated and noted.

Right of reply after publication

Subjects of coverage who believe we have published an error are invited to email Rebecca@RoachRoundup.com. We commit to reviewing such requests within 5 business days. Documented errors are corrected on the same business day they are verified.

How to report an error

Email Rebecca@RoachRoundup.com with:

• The URL of the article in question
• The specific claim you believe is in error
• The primary source that supports the correction
